Method and location of data processing
Treatment modes
The Data Controller takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction of Personal Data.
The processing is carried out by means of computer and/or telematic instruments, with organisational methods and logics strictly related to the purposes indicated. In
addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, other subjects involved in the organisation of abventure.it (administrative, sales, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external subjects (such as third party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) also appointed, if necessary, Data Processors by the Data Controller, may
have access to the Data. The updated list of Data Processors can always be requested from the Data Controller.
Legal basis for processing
The Controller processes Personal Data relating to the User if one of the following conditions is met:
- the User has given consent for one or more specific purposes; Note: in some jurisdictions, the Controller may be allowed to process Personal Data without the User’s consent or any of the other legal bases specified below, until the User objects (“opts-out”) to such processing. However, this does not apply where the processing of Personal Data is governed by European legislation on the protection of Personal Data;
- the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the User and/or the execution of pre-contractual measures;
- processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which the Controller is subject;
- processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Controller;
- processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Controller or of third parties.
However, it is always possible to ask the Controller to clarify the concrete legal basis of each processing operation and in particular to specify whether the processing is based on law, required by a contract or necessary to conclude a contract.
Place
The Data are processed at the Controller’s premises and at any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. For further information, please contact the Data Controller.
The User’s Personal Data may be transferred to a country other than the one where the User is located. For further information on the location of the processing, the User may refer to the section on Personal Data processing details.
The User has the right to obtain information about the legal basis of the transfer of Data outside the European Union or to an international organisation under public international law or consisting of two or more countries, such as the UN, as well as about the security measures taken by the Controller to protect the Data.
The User can verify whether one of the transfers just described takes place by examining the section of this document relating to details on the processing of Personal Data or request information from the Controller by contacting it at the contact details given at the beginning.
Storage period
Data are processed and stored for the time required by the purposes for which they were collected.
Therefore:
- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Controller and the User will be retained until the performance of that contract is completed.
- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the legitimate interest of the Controller will be retained until such interest is satisfied. The User may obtain further information regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Controller.
When the processing is based on the User’s consent, the Controller may keep the Personal Data for a longer period until such consent is revoked. In addition, the Controller may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority.
At the end of the retention period the Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the end of this period, the right of access, deletion, rectification and the right to Data portability can no longer be exercised.
Purposes of Data Processing
User Data are collected to enable the Data Controller to provide the Service, to comply with legal obligations, to respond to requests or enforcement actions, to protect its rights and interests (or those of Users or third parties), to detect any fraudulent or malicious activity, as well as for the following purposes: Displaying content from external platforms, Statistics, Tag Management, Advertising, Contacting the User, SPAM protection, Heat mapping and session recording, Payment management, Interaction with live chat platforms, Registration and authentication provided directly by www.abventure.co.uk, Remarketing and behavioral targeting, Contact and message management and User database management.

Contact by telephone (abventure.it)
Users who have provided their telephone number may be contacted for commercial or promotional purposes related to abventure.it, as well as to fulfil support requests.

The User, by filling in the contact form with his/her Data, consents to the use of such Data to respond to requests for information, quotations, or any other nature indicated in the header of the form.

By registering for the mailing list or newsletter, the User’s email address is automatically added to a list of contacts to whom email messages may be sent containing information, including commercial and promotional information, relating to abventure.it. - Managing contacts and sending messages
This type of service allows the management of a database of email contacts, telephone contacts or contacts of any other type used to communicate with the User.
These services may also collect data on the date and time the User views the messages, as well as the User’s interaction with them, such as information on clicks on links in the messages.
SendinBlue Email (SendinBlue SAS): SendinBlue is an address management and email messaging service provided by SendinBlue SAS.

MailUp is an address management and email messaging service provided by Growens S.p.A.
Personal Data processed: surname; date of birth; Usage Data; email; physical address; country; name; phone number; profession; company name; gender; Tracking Tools; username; various types of Data.
Place of processing: Italy – Privacy Policy.
These types of services allow the Controller to build user profiles starting from an email address, name or any other information the User provides to abventure.it, as well as to track the User’s activities through statistical features. This Personal Data may also be cross-referenced with publicly available information about the User (such as social network profiles) and used to build private profiles that the Data Controller may view and use to improve abventure.it.
Some of these services may also allow the scheduled sending of messages to the User, such as emails based on specific actions taken on abventure.it.
SendinBlue Marketing Automation (SendinBlue SAS)
SendinBlue is a User database management service provided by SendinBlue SAS.
Personal data processed: Usage Data; email; Tracking Tools.
Place of processing: France – Privacy Policy
Unless otherwise specified, abventure.it processes all payments by credit card, bank transfer or other means via external payment service providers. In general, and unless otherwise specified, Users are requested to provide payment details and personal information directly to such payment service providers.
Www.abventure.com is not involved in the collection and processing of such information: instead, it will only receive a notification from the payment service provider in question that the payment has been made.
Stripe ( Stripe Technology Europe Ltd)
Stripe is a payment service provided by Stripe Technology Europe Ltd.
Personal Data processed: surname; email; name; various types of Data as specified by the service’s privacy policy.

This type of service is functional for the centralised management of tags or scripts used on abventure.it.
The use of these services entails the flow of User Data through them and, where appropriate, their retention.
Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited)
Google Tag Manager is a tag management service provided by Google Ireland Limited.

- Heat mapping and session recording
Heat mapping services are used to identify the areas of abventure.it with which Users interact most frequently, in order to detect which of them attract the most interest. These services make it possible to monitor and analyse traffic data and serve to keep track of User behaviour.
Some of these services may record sessions and make them available for later viewing.
Hotjar Heat Maps & Recordings (Hotjar Ltd.)
Hotjar is a heat mapping and session recording service provided by Hotjar Ltd.
Hotjar respects generic ‘Do Not Track’ headers. This means that the browser can instruct the script not to collect any user data. This is a setting that is available in all major browsers. More information on opting out of Hotjar is available here.

- Interaction with live chat platforms
This type of service makes it possible to interact with live chat platforms operated by third parties, directly from the pages of abventure.it, in order to contact and be contacted by the abventure.it support service.
If a service for interacting with live chat platforms is installed, it is possible that, even if Users do not use the service, it may collect Usage Data relating to the pages where it is installed. In addition, live chat conversations may be recorded.
Widget of Tawk.to (tawk.to ltd.)
The Tawk.to Widget is a service for interaction with the Tawk.to live chat platform, provided by tawk.to ltd.

This type of service analyses abventure.it traffic, potentially containing Users’ Personal Data, in order to filter it out of traffic, messages and content recognised as SPAM.
Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited)
Google reCAPTCHA is a SPAM protection service provided by Google Ireland Limited.
Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms of use.

This type of service allows the User’s Data to be used for commercial communication purposes. These communications are displayed on abventure.it in the form of banners and other forms of advertising, also related to the User’s interests.
This does not mean that all Personal Data is used for this purpose. Data and conditions of use are set out below.

- Registration and authentication provided directly by abventure.it
By registering or authenticating, the User allows abventure.it to identify him/her and give him/her access to dedicated services. Personal Data are collected and stored exclusively for registration or identification purposes. The Data collected are only those necessary to provide the service requested by the User.
Direct registration (abventure.it)
The User registers by filling in the registration form and providing his or her Personal Data directly to abventure.it.

- Remarketing and behavioural targeting
This type of service allows abventure.it and its partners to communicate, optimise and serve advertisements based on the User’s past use of abventure.it.
This activity is facilitated by tracking Usage Data and using Tracking Tools to collect information that is then transferred to partners that handle remarketing and behavioral targeting
activities.

option based on email address lists.

Remarketing with Google Analytics is a remarketing and behavioral targeting service provided by Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on how the Data Controller manages the processing of the Data, which links the tracking activity performed by Google Analytics and its Tracking Tools with the Google Ads advertising network and the Doubleclick cookie.
